TRIP BY THE COAST, MOUNTAINS AND JUNGLE

DAY 01
LIMA: RECEPTION AND TRANSFER
A representative of our team will wait for your arrival at the airport with a sign with your name. This person will welcome you to Peru and take you to your hotel in Miraflores.
DAY 02
CITY TOUR (GROUP)
This day, we will stop by your hotel around 08:30 am. in the morning and they will visit the most visited places in Lima: The tour begins with a visit to the archaeological complex of La “Huaca Huallamarca”. Afterwards, we visit the famous Larco museum, which shows the best private collection of pre-Columbian art in Peru.
Here you will enjoy a traditional dessert called “lucuma mousse”. Lucuma is a fruit endemic to Peru. Then, we continue to the historic center of Lima to observe the colonial architecture and monuments that have earned it the status of World Heritage Site. The visit includes entry to the Santo Domingo convent, which is one of the best preserved monuments in the historic center.
In the afternoon we will start around 4:00 pm. They will make the historical and cultural visit of Lima. Escape to the splendor of the colonial era and the glorious republican era of the city of Lima. It will begin in one of the first facilities of the first university in America: the Universidad Mayor de San Marcos, what is now its cultural center called "La Casona de San Marcos." We walked towards the Osambela House, an architectural jewel of peculiar construction in its time because it had a 3rd floor, where its owner could see all the way to the port of Callao. Two more blocks and we find Casa Aliaga, a beautiful mansion belonging to the same family since the viceroyalty. We finish at the traditional Hotel Bolívar with rich architecture and impressive location in Plaza San Martín, its history brings with it illustrious guests ranging from King Juan Carlos of Spain to Mick Jagger and Ava Gardner. We explore its elegant interiors while appreciating its rich history. Here the bartender will teach us how he makes his pisco sour, thus ending the night in this bar.
DAY 03
VISIT OF PACHACAMAC AND ALTERNATIVE ROUTES (GROUP)
In the morning we will begin this visit around 11:00 am. one of the most important religious centers of ancient Peru, a tour of those places that marked and mark history in Lima, taking a full-day tour. We will begin with a guided visit to the imposing Ceremonial Center of Pachacamac where we will see palaces, plazas and temples, some of them built during Inca domination.
We will pass through Los Pantanos de Villa, offering the opportunity to appreciate an oasis of protected nature in the middle of the city. Lunch at a local restaurant to enjoy the best of Peruvian Creole food. Brief exploration of the bohemian district of Barranco. Then, we headed to the majesty of Viceregal Lima, visiting the convent of San Francisco, with its solemn library and its chilling catacombs. Walking through the Historic Center we will let ourselves be enveloped in its streets and buildings, we will enter mansions and discover their cultural importance. We finish by visiting the Magic Circuit of Waters, where we will enjoy a unique show in South America, where lights, water, music and images play.
PARACAS
DAY 04
LIMA – PARACAS
Today we will leave around 09:00 am. from your Hotel in the morning to board the private transportation to Paracas. Upon arrival in Paracas we will begin with a visit to the Paracas National Reserve.
In the Paracas National Reserve: We will visit the flamingo or parihuana viewpoint; We will appreciate "The Cathedral", a unique natural formation product of the erosion of the wind and the sea; Red Beach, unique on the Peruvian coast; Marine Fossil Remains and we will conclude at Lagunillas Beach, where we can have lunch and enjoy the beach. After our visit we will go to our hotel to rest and have a relaxing afternoon enjoying the surroundings of the Paracas resort.
DAY 05
PARACAS – ISLAS BALLESTAS (GRUPO)
The visit lasts 1 hour and 45 minutes. The first stop is at the impressive geoglyph “El Candelabro” which is estimated to be more than 2,500 years old.
Then we continue in the direction of the Ballestas Islands. On a good day you can appreciate the diversity of marine life, starting with the sea lions, the Humboldt penguins, the Tendrils with their magical colors and the Blue-footed Booby, among others. The boats are safe and equipped with all the comforts, they are provided with life jackets, a cabin with a bathroom and they will be accompanied by a guide who will provide you with all the information about the place. At the end of the tour we will take you to your hotel.

DAY 06
PARACAS – LIMA AND FREE AFTERNOON (PRIVATE)
Today we will pick you up from your hotel around 09:00 am. in the morning to take them in private transportation to their hotel in Lima.
The rest of the day you can enjoy a free afternoon to stroll through the picturesque city of Lima.
DAY 07
LIMA – IQUITOS AND FREE AFTERNOON (PRIVATE)
Today we will pick you up from your hotel in Miraflores to take you to the Lima Airport to take your flight to Iquitos. Upon arrival in Iquitos, a representative will be waiting to take you to your Hotel in Iquitos.
This day you can enjoy a free morning to stroll through the picturesque city of Lima.

DAY 08
IQUITOS – RIO AMAZONAS
Today we will pick you up from your Hotel in Iquitos and then travel by air-conditioned vehicle through the Peruvian countryside to arrive at our Nauta Lounge in time for lunch, or we will serve a box lunch en route depending on the time of arrival. arrival of the flight. In the afternoon, we will depart on your first excursion along the Marañón River. At 6:00 pm, we will board the ARIA AMAZON. DAY 09
RIO AMAZONAS – RIO YARAPA – NAUTA CAÑO
Aboard our comfortable skiffs, we set sail from the Amazon River to the Yarapa River. Keep your binoculars ready to spot tropical songbirds, black-necked hawks, and sloths. We'll go fishing for the Amazon's notoriously ferocious piranhas while our naturalist guides share stories from Lake Moringo. As the sun sets, we head out on a nighttime excursion through the Peruvian jungle to appreciate wildlife with extraordinary stargazing in the black waters of Nauta Caño.
DAY 10
MARAÑON RIVER – JUNGLE WALK – YANAYACU PUCATE
Today we get up very early to watch the birds in the morning along the Marañón River. After breakfast, we will go on a jungle walk in the “Casual” mainland forest, while searching for flora and fauna including medicinal trees, insects and poisonous frogs, and learning more about the different strata of the rainforest. Later, we have the option to swim, canoe or kayak on the Yanayacu-Pucate River while we look for legendary pink dolphins. At night we focus our high-tech telescope on the night sky to identify the planets and constellations. Tonight before dinner, we'll gather to introduce you to some of the crew members you may not have met, working "behind the scenes" to ensure your countless exceptional experiences aboard ARIA AMAZON.
DAY 11
NAUTA – MANATEE RESCUE CENTER – IQUITOS – CUSCO
This morning, we will visit the local fresh produce market with your guides, who will be able to identify the catch of the day by Amazonian fishermen and the exotic fruits of the region. Return to ARIA for breakfast and to pack up. Before saying goodbye, we visited the Manatee Rescue Center, a kind of animal orphanage for the rescue of Amazonian manatees, for their subsequent rehabilitation and release back into the wild. We will also visit the San Juan crafts market en route to the airport. Lunch or box lunch will be provided, depending on the exact flight departure time, which may vary. Other local activities may also be included, according to our recommended flight schedule. Upon arrival in Cusco our representative will be waiting to take you to your Hotel in the Sacred Valley.
The trip to the Sacred Valley is 1 hour and 30 minutes. This day we recommend you rest and take the time necessary to help your body adapt to the altitude. We suggest drinking lots of water, sugary infusion, or consuming something sweet (candy is good, but not chocolate).
CUSCO
DAY 12
VALLE SAGRADO; MORAY, MARAS, MISMINAY – OLLANTAYTAMBO (PRIVATE)
This day we will take you to discover the beautiful sacred valley of Cusco. The optimal climate and geography of this valley gave rise to fertile lands that the Incas took advantage of to create the most important center of agricultural production and the proof of this is the magnificent agricultural terraces. For this reason, the sacred valley was also home to imposing temples and fortresses.
The first visit will be to the enigmatic circular terraces of Moray, a place that, according to experts, was a center for crop experimentation in the Inca era where an attempt was made to acclimatize plants brought from the tropical Andes. Then, we visit the picturesque town of Maras, whose importance originates from the extraction of salt since Inca times and which continues to this day. From Maras they will take a descending walk of approximately one hour that will allow them to appreciate the salt mines that consist of about 3,000 small pools or salt mines.
The next visit takes us to the weaving community of Misminay. Here they will meet with some families from the community and their weavers will show them the process of making Andean textiles. You will also see simple homemade tools used for handmade weaving, whose technique and art is transmitted from generation to generation. At the end, you will enjoy a delicious lunch made with native products from the area and prepared by the family of the weavers themselves.
The last visit will be Ollantaytambo and its monumental fortress that was built in a place on two mountains from where the entire valley is dominated. An important military, religious, administrative and agricultural function is attributed to this impressive place. Finally you will return to your hotel in the Sacred Valley.
DAY 13
REAL INCA TREK (GROUP)
Someone said that getting to Machupicchu without having to walk is like reading a good book starting from the last page. In this program we offer you the option of enjoying the adventure of traveling part of the magnificent Inca trail and entering the citadel towards sunset through the famous Puerta del Sol or Inti Punku.
The day begins at 6:15 am to take you to the train station in Ollantaytambo and board the train that leaves at 6:40 am. The group gets off the train at the town of Chachabamba and from there ascends the Inca trail built more than 500 years ago, observing the flora and fauna of the cloud forest, appreciating waterfalls and various archaeological sites.
After three hours of walking you will reach the archaeological site of Wiñaywayna where you will pause to enjoy a well-deserved picnic. The next section will take you to the Puerta del Sol from where you will have a first view of the citadel that will take your breath away. The total route on this day will be 8 kilometers that will be walked in an average time of 5 to 6 hours. We calmly descend towards the town of Aguas Calientes to rest. In the evening the local guide will come to the hotel to inform you of the schedule and itinerary for the guided tour of Machupicchu the next day.

DAY 14
MACHUPICCHU AND RETURN TO THE SACRED VALLEY (GROUP)
Machupicchu (In Quechua: “old mountain”) was declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1983. According to researchers and archaeologists, Machu Picchu was one of the main cities built in the “jungle eyebrow” area by the Inca civilization in the process of their attempt to conquer the high and low lands of the Amazon. The Incas knew of the wealth that the jungle offered, a region rich in food, fruits, medicinal plants, among many the revered coca leaf. Machupicchu was an important religious and astronomical sanctuary for the Incas.
Today Machupicchu continues to be a place of great magnetism and continues to attract thousands of people who come from all over the world to see it and now it's your turn.
Visit of the citadel; Very early in the morning, you will take the bus that will take you and your local guide to the archaeological site. The guided tour of Machu Picchu lasts approximately 2 hours and covers the areas of greatest importance and interest. After the guided tour you will have enough free time to explore all the details of the citadel as you wish. At noon we descend to the town of Aguas Calientes to have lunch and take the train back to Ollantaytambo station.
DAY 15
VISIT OF PISAC, INKARIY MUSEUM – CITY OF CUSCO (PRIVATE)
Today you will visit the archaeological site of Pisac that shows us beautiful terraces, housing structures and Inca aqueducts. If your visit falls on a Sunday, Tuesday or Thursday you will be able to experience the vibrant atmosphere of market day where a huge offer of varied Andean crafts and textiles is concentrated.
Visit Inkariy Museum The next visit is the Inkariy museum. This museum successfully manages to transmit valuable archaeological information to an audience of all ages with simple and educational language. In a very well planned chronological tour, the history of the pre-Columbian societies of the north and south of Peru will be completed and culminates with the splendorous Inca empire. The museum offers a delicious lunch made with Andean products from the region.
Finally we will transfer you to the city of Cusco, upon arrival you will be able to rest the rest of the day at your hotel.
DAY 16
VISIT THE CITY OF CUSCO (PRIVATE)
The beautiful city of Cusco deserves a leisurely visit. This program is designed to allow you to discover the architectural gems of the city without haste or haste. The day will begin with a visit to the Cusco cathedral, which was built on top of the Inca Wiracocha palace. The cathedral houses many relics and treasures, especially paintings from the renowned Cusco School of Painting. Next, we visit the most revered temple in the Inca Empire, the Temple of the Sun or “Qoricancha. After this visit, your guide will accompany you to explore the streets and squares of a city full of Andean identity, art and culture.

AREQUIPA
DAY 17
FLIGHT TO AREQUIPA AND FREE DAY
In the morning, at the required time, we will transfer you to the airport, so you can continue your trip to Arequipa. Upon arrival at the airport in the city of Arequipa, our representative will wait for you at the airport with a sign showing your name to facilitate your identification and welcome.
Arequipa is the second most important city in Peru. Since the viceregal period, Arequipa acquired importance for its outstanding economic role and its people were characterized by their loyalty to the Spanish Crown. For this reason Arequipa received titles of "Very Noble and Very Loyal" and "Fidelísima" from the Spanish crown. The so-called “white city” preserves beautiful colonial buildings made with a volcanic stone called ashlar and its mansions and churches give the city elegance and distinction.
In Arequipa the people are very friendly and it will be very easy for you to decide on the fly how to visit this beautiful city. Inside the hotel you will find staff who will gladly give you all the information so that you can join a group or visit the city on your own as you wish.
DAY 18
CITY TOUR IN THE MORNING AND FREE AFTERNOON IN AREQUIPA (GROUP)
We will start the excursion around 08:30 am. heading towards one of the traditional districts of our city, the Cayma district, taking the Chilina bridge as a route, from where we can at the same time have a view of our city and its terraces cut by the Chili River. In Cayma we will visit its main square and temple, where the Dominican monks built a hermitage in 1544 and today it is a sanctuary of the Virgin of Candelaria.
After this visit we will continue towards the Añashuayco area; place where the emblematic “sillar” is extracted (The white volcanic stone that is used in the construction of colonial buildings in the city of Arequipa). Upon arriving in Añashuayco, your guide will give you information about the origin and geological formation of the quarries and we will have the opportunity to observe the extraction of ashlar (volcanic Tufo).
We continue towards the Yanahuara district; paying a visit to the popular Antiquilla market, which today maintains the colonial infrastructure of ancient Arequipa and then continuing to the Plaza de Yanahuara, characteristic for its viewpoint, where you can have a view of the city and our volcanoes and a short walk through its typical streets. We head towards the Plaza de Armas, where your guide will give you a review of its history and characteristics of its construction, as well as details of our Cathedral.
The tour ends by taking clients to the entrance of the Santa Catalina Monastery; where your guide will provide assistance for those who wish to visit the monument.
DAY 19
COLCA CANYON (GROUP)
We will leave via the northern route around 07:30 am. from where you can appreciate different views of the Misty, Chachani and Pichu Pichu volcanoes. We will continue the tour in the direction of the Salinas and Aguada Blanca National Reserve (Pampas Cañahuas) where you can see the beautiful vicuñas in their natural habitat. Then we will pass through Pataguas, a place from where we can see the Puruña stone forest formed by natural erosion.
We will continue to Vizcachani and the Toccra wetlands where you can observe Alpacas, Llamas and different varieties of wild birds, many of them in the migratory process.
The next place we will visit is Patapampa, the highest point of the route whose altitude rises to 4900 meters above sea level. From this point you can see the Chila mountain range and the Ampato, Sabancaya and Hualca Hualca volcanoes, as well as the snow-capped Mismi, considered the place where The Amazon River is born because it is the furthest tributary.
From this place we will begin the descent towards the Colca National Park, arriving first at the town of Chivay, and then heading to your hotel, where lunch will be waiting for you.

DAY 20
VISIT OF THE CROSS OF THE CONDOR AND RETURN TO AREQUIPA
After breakfast we leave for the viewpoint known as “La Cruz del Cóndor” where we will stay for approximately 2 hours. In this beautiful place you can appreciate the depth of the Colca Canyon in its greatest dimension and also the flight of the condor at a short distance.
On the way back we will pass through the towns of Pinchollo, Maca and Achoma from where we will observe archaeological remains, pre-Inca agricultural terraces and beautiful panoramic views of the Colca Canyon.
We will arrive at the town of Chivay around 12.15 pm, we will have lunch and visit its plaza, and then return to Arequipa and take you to your hotel.
DAY 21
FLIGHT TO LIMA AND INTERNATIONAL CONNECTION
Today you will have the morning free to do the last shopping and enjoy one of the most beautiful cities in the country. Finally, at a suitable time we will transfer you to the Arequipa Airport to take your flight to Lima and connect directly with the international flight back home with your heart full of unforgettable moments.
